CITIES FAMOUS FOR TOURISM IN NEPAL

Kathmandu
Kathmandu is the capital and largest metropolian city of Nepal. A 218 square miles of land situated above 4400Ft above the sea level. Kathmandu valey contains two cities namely Lalitpur,5 kilometers to it's southen and Bhaktapur,14 kilometers to it's east.
Kathmandu is the hub of nepal's traditional culture and arts.It is also famous for world heritageplaces. Pashupati temple, Durbar squares, Swayambhunath stupa, Hanuman Dhoka, Bouddhanath, chagunarayanare the main attractions of this city. Kathmandu is gateway to Nepal tourism.

Pokhara
Pokhara, sub metropolian city located at 198 kilometer west of kathmandu.After kathmandu and Biratnagr it is the third largest city of Nepal.
Pokhara is very famous of natural beauty.Number of lakes, temple, Boudhha stupas are herein Pokhara.This city is fully tourist oriented. Hotels and resturants are many on the lake sidesand other every places. About half of all tourists visiting pokhara are there for the start or end of a trek to the annapurna Base camp and Mustang.

Chitwan
Chitwan is one of the tourism city in Nepal. This District is in the western part of NarayaniZone and Bharatpur is it's district headquaters.Chitwan is very famous in Nepal because there is Narayani river, National park, Beesh Hazar Tal which is the attraction of this city.For animal lovers, Chitwan national park offers them an oppertunity of a life time to see royalBengal tigers, one horned rhinos,various species of birds and butterflies. National park of chitwan also include elefant riding, jungle safari,bird watching, boating for domestic and foreign tourists.Jungle safari is the most popular one.
